Reason for the Need: Our team is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Manager with a robust background in AI/ML to lead our GenAI transformation. In this role, you will drive the product lifecycle of our GenAI initiatives, from alignment and requirements collecting to product development and program delivery. Your expertise in technical program management, GenAI, Cloud, and LLMs (LargeLanguage Models) will be crucial in guiding the team and ensuring the successful execution of our strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Execution:
Define and drive the product strategy for the AI/ML Products, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market needs.
Develop and manage the product roadmap, including planning, prioritization, and execution of product features and improvements.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
Initiate and maintain alignment with stakeholders, including internal teams and external vendors, to gather requirements and meet project goals.
Manage vendor relationships and oversee the integration of third-party tools and technologies as needed.
Technical Leadership:
Leverage your expertise in AI/ML, GenAI, VideoStreaming, and Cloud engineering to guide the development and implementation of product solutions.
Ensure a deep understanding of how LLMs operate, and how APIs are created or consumed to build effective AI/ML products.
Project Delivery:
Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initial concept and design through development, testing, and deployment.
Ensure timely and successful delivery of projects by managing resources, timelines, and risks effectively.
Team Development:
Mentor and upskill team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Provide guidance and support in technical areas related to OTT, AI/ML in Video processing, and Generative AI.
Continuous Improvement:
Evaluate and implement best practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance product development processes.
Analyze feature performance via AB testing and user feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation
Suggest and implement improvements in portfolio lifecycle, assessing areas that can be streamlined and taking complex projects towards successful delivery.
Must-Have Skills:
Proven track record as a Senior Product Manager or Technical Program Manager with a strong background in AI/ML
Demonstrated experience with Cloud technologies and knowledge of LLMs (Large Language Models)
Hands-on experience in creating and consuming APIs for AI/ML projects.
Strong technical acumen with proven experience understanding and guiding complex AI/ML products.
Excellent program management skills, with a history of successfully delivering large-scale projects, including but not limited to budget management, technical reviews, risk reviews, crafting business requirements and technical specs, and driving projects toward MVP
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders and team members, including Engineering and development teams, and business units in various stages of their AI journey. Ability to be flexible with different teams and cultures to meet the business where they are, providing prescriptive and thoughtful solutions.
Product owner mentality with a background in Waterfall and Agile.
Language Skills:
• Must have fluent English skills.
• Proficiency in Ukrainian or Russian languages is a big plus.
Startup Experience (nice to have):
Previous experience working with startups and understanding the unique challenges in a startup environment. Readiness to test the Hypothesis bi-weekly.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business, advanced degree preferred.
Annual Base Salary Range (California): $89,000—$159,000 USD
